Sectional garage doors have a series of advantages that are beneficial to any type of property. The first of these is their unique construction and operation – the panels that make up the door travel vertically with no protrusion from the opening before essentially turning and travelling horizontally on a suspended track back into the garage. No protrusion during the opening of the door means that you can park a car almost touching the face of the door, which is especially helpful if you have a short drive.
Depending on the type of door you choose, a full drive-through height & width is also achievable, The panel is up to 40mm thick with foam insulation sandwiched between a strong steel front and rear skin, making it not only perfect for heat retention but also extremely strong and secure.

A sectional garage door can be operated manually however most of our customer (around 90%) opt to have their garage door automated.
All Westcoast Doors sectional garage doors when automated are supplied with 2 x quality hand transmitters and an extremely convenient wireless wall button. You also have the option to control and monitor your garage door remotely via a smartphone (iPhone & android) bringing a new level of convenience and user experience to the garage door.
The Garage Door Systems sectional garage door is the most robust, reliable and top performing garage door within our range. Constructed from 42mm thick insulated double steel skin sections this model is available in a wide range of design and colour options to suit any home.
Assuming that you have another entry/exit to the garage door, an internal manual release is included as standard with sectional doors.
If there is no other entry/exit then you will need to add an external manual release will be required we can advise on this during your free survey.
